Looking to board your pup but unsure if we'd be a good fit?
Book a Chat with us and ask away! We'll be happy to share Hershey's "standard" - aka our home boarding philosophy and structure, and walk you through a typical day-in-the-life, activities and all! Our goal is to help you get acquainted with what we can provide and what your pup would get staying with us. Tell us about your pup, their boarding needs, favourite play things, and any dietary or medical needs, behaviours, and training systems we should know. No pressure, because as pup owners ourselves, we understand how important it is to find someone you can trust.

Meet & Greet

Meet Hershey & Co. face-to-face! This session is to assess how our pups interact with each other in a neutral, public space. We require a one-time meet & greet for all new pups ahead of any home board booking. We will not be able to accommodate pups with severe aggression, resource guarding, or extreme fearfulness.

This session is also a great chance to lock in answers to any questions you have for us and confirm logistics and boarding dates. This booking is not required IF doing a one-night boarding trial, or if our pups have already met and are friendly :)

First Night Check-in for Home Boarding

Book the first night of your pup's stay with us here!
You can drop off your pup at anytime during the respective time slot indicated, usually between 2-10PM. For alternative drop-off times, please contact us directly.

We highly recommend booking a Consult or messaging us to confirm the details of your pups stay, including any potential boarding dates so we can be sure we are able to accommodate the whole duration. Please also note that the first night's payment is required to confirm your booking.

For pups staying more than 1 night, the remainder of boarding fees are due upon check-out.
Boarding rates applied to a stay of 4 or more nights will be offered at $50 per night from the second night onwards.

One-Night Boarding Trial (First Timers)

For any home boarding stays of 4 nights or more, we request pups complete a One-Night Trial at our home in advance. This trial will helps your pup develop familiarity with the environment and boarding routine, which reduces anxiety and helps them adapt better during longer stays. It also helps us get to know your pup better and make notes on their needs. Of course, updates and cute pics will be provided to pup pawrents!

Check-in time: 6PM-8PM the evening of. Check-out: 10AM-12PM the following day.

About

Welcome to Hershey & Co. Home Boarding!
Hershey is our beloved male border collie and the inspiration behind this page. We started our home board to build avenues for other pet parents to opt for 1-1 care for their pups, in a safe and structured environment that prioritizes balanced enrichment and wellbeing. We only board one new pup at a time, and will accept up to two dogs if they are from the same household.

Your pup's staycay with us will be fun and fulfilling! We're also believers in enriching pups beyond the walk-around-the-block, and will provide activities that meet their physical and mental needs. We use balanced training approaches with a high degree of positive reinforcement, and appropriate boundary setting. (We have a border collie, you can imagine our lives without it...)

Board your pup with us for a staycay built on structured fun and fulfillment! We will care for your pup like one of our own (after all, it's fun stimulating life with a second dog ;)).
